I've been working in the hospitality industry since 2014. Have I always dreamt about an hotelier life? Not really... It's one of those things I don't know exactly how it started, but it's also one of the greatest things that ever happened to me. After all, being able to work in beautiful places, create meaningful experiences whilst nurturing my passion for travelling sometimes feels like a real privilege! I dare to state that I work in the industry of dreams, dreams of a life changing experience.
It all started after a Bachelor's Degree in Media and Communication. I've continued my academy journey and got a Master's Degree on Journalism, that led me to a few meaningless jobs. I ended up spotting an opportunity as Marketing Assistant at one of the most beautiful boutique hotels in Lisbon, without ever thinking how much that experience would change my journey.
Here I met some of the best people I've ever met professionally, people that had a great impact on my career choice. I worked with great teams and breathed true purpose, breaking ground concepts and inovation every single day. And then (and just because my restless soul syndrome was pretty OK with it) I moved to the Algarve, South of Portugal, to work in a major hospitality brand.
Living by the beach was pretty cool, I have to admit - once again, some perks of hospitality life. One of the greatest memories I kept from those days was actually the training process, outside Portugal, in which I learnt from a dedicated team that I really miss.
Today, I've come back to Lisbon - the city I fell in love with long time ago - and I'm working right in its heart, still in hospitality marketing, still creating dreams for you to live.
